Traffic Alert: Brandon Street & Poinciana Street

On Monday, July 18^th, contractors for Huntsville Utilities will begin replacing cast iron water pipes on Brandon Street and Poinciana Street, from Bob Wallace Avenue to Rhett Avenue (including portions of Marsheutz Avenue). The project is expected to last 2-3 months.

While the roads will be open during this work, motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible.  Motorists traveling through this area are asked to do so with extreme caution as workers will be present. 

If possible, travelers are advised to plan alternate routes to minimize any inconvenience.  If alternate routes are not available, be prepared for shifting traffic patterns and possible delays.
