Dangerous Heat Expected The Rest Of This Week

According to US National Weather Service Huntsville Alabama, the heat advisory that was issued yesterday has now been extended to Friday at 7pm.
Heat indices as high as 111 are expected. Please take all necessary precautions, including not leaving people or pets in cars, staying hydrated, wearing loose fitting, light colored clothing, and staying out of the heat as much as possible.
Keep your energy costs under control by using ceiling fans, closing curtains on windows that face the sun, and not running heat generating appliances during the hottest part of the day (washers, dryers, and dishwashers).
Remember that nothing impacts your energy costs as much as the outside air temperature, so cut back on energy use where you can to keep those costs under control.
