We want to make you aware of some potential storms forecast for our area by US National Weather Service Huntsville Alabama.

There is a chance of isolated to scattered strong thunderstorms tomorrow. The window for this weather system is 6am to 6pm, but the greatest risk is from noon to 6pm.

The primary hazards are gusty winds and small hail. This could lead to limbs, tree, and debris being blown into or bringing down power lines. If you see a downed line, do not approach or attempt to drive over it. Stay away and call us immediately at 256-53-LIGHT (256-535-4448). This is also the number to call to report a power outage.

Huntsville Utilities is closely monitoring the weather situation and has crews standing by to respond to any service issues.
