Traffic Alert - Old Highway 20

On Thursday (May 19, 2022) at 6:00pm, Huntsville Utilities Water Operations will close both westbound lanes of Old Highway 20 from Segers Road to Greenbrier Road for water main installation work. 

The eastbound lanes will be used for traffic traveling in both directions during this project, which is expected to last 4-6 hours.

Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible.  Motorists traveling through this area are asked to do so with extreme caution as workers will be present. 

If possible, travelers are advised to plan alternate routes to minimize any inconvenience.  If alternate routes are not available, be prepared for shifting traffic patterns and possible delays.
