Traffic Alert - Whitesburg Drive

Wednesday, May 18, at 8:30pm, Huntsville Utilities Water Operations will close the northbound lane of Whitesburg Drive between Bob Wallace Avenue and Central Avenue for new water installation work.

Northbound traffic will be diverted into the inside, southbound lane during this project, which is expected to last 6-8 hours.

Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible.  Motorists traveling through this area are asked to do so with extreme caution as workers will be present. 

If possible, travelers are advised to plan alternate routes to minimize any inconvenience.  If alternate routes are not available, be prepared for shifting traffic patterns and possible delays.
