Road Closure - Pratt Avenue (Updated March 3, 2022)

UPDATE: This work will continue on Friday, March 4, 2022.  Time of the closure will be 8:30am - 2:30pm.

At 8:30am on March 1, 2022, Huntsville Utilities Water Operations will close the 800 block of Pratt Avenue between Russell Street and Coleman Street for hydrant repair work. 

The projected time of the closure is 4-6 hours.

Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible.  Motorists traveling through this area are asked to do so with extreme caution as workers will be present. 

If possible, travelers are advised to plan alternate routes to minimize any inconvenience.  If alternate routes are not available, be prepared for shifting traffic patterns and possible delays.
