Traffic Alert: Old Highway 431

NEWS RELEASE – HUNTSVILLE UTILITIES

LANE CLOSURE - OLD HIGHWAY 431

Wednesday – December 15, 2021 – 2:00pm

Tomorrow morning at 7:00am, Huntsville Utilities Water Operations will close both northbound lanes of Old Highway 431 between Berkley Road and Cherry Tree Road for water main work.

Detours will be in place during this project, which is expected to last until 3:00pm.

Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible. Motorists traveling through this area are asked to do so with extreme caution as workers will be present.

If possible, travelers are advised to plan alternate routes to minimize any inconvenience. If alternate routes are not available, be prepared for shifting traffic patterns and possible delays.
