Huntsville Utilities Lineman Rodeo Team Wins Big At Lineman Rodeo
The Huntsville Utilities Lineman Rodeo Team won 12 awards at the 27th annual Tennessee Valley Public Power Association Lineman Rodeo in Chattanooga over the weekend.
The annual event includes competitive events for apprentices, journeyman teams of three, individual lineman, and a seniors category for linemen age 45 and above. Linemen are judged on their speed, safety, thoroughness of the job, and following procedures. This year’s rodeo was the largest to date, with lineworkers from 35 utilities competing.
