The US National Weather Service Huntsville Alabama has placed our area under a level 2 (of 5) risk for severe weather today, with the timing for the Huntsville Utilities service area being between 2pm and 6pm this evening.

Primary threat is damaging winds. While there are threats of heavy rainfall, large hail, and tornadoes, confidence in those threats is lower.

Remember:
If you see a downed power line, do not approach it or drive over it. Also, do not attempt to remove limbs, trees, or debris from power lines. Report these situations (as well as power outages) to 256-53-LIGHT (256-535-4448).
