We are receiving reports of scam calls targeting Huntsville Utilities customers. The caller states service is about to be cut off unless the customer calls 888-912-0560 to make a payment.

THIS IS NOT A HUNTSVILLE UTILITIES NUMBER! IT IS A SCAM!

DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER TO MAKE A PAYMENT!

Remember that we DO NOT call and threaten imminent disconnect, nor do we accept gift cards or prepaid debit cards as payment.

If you receive such a call, hang up. DO NOT give them any personal financial information!

If you believe you have been the victim of a scam, contact your financial institution and local law enforcement immediately.
