The Huntsville Utilities Lineworker Rodeo Team brought home three trophies at the American Public Power Association's Lineworker Rodeo in Lafayette, Louisiana, over the weekend.


In the Overall Journeyman Team Competition, the team of Cole Border, Colby Lipham, and Adam Thomas placed 4th.

In the Journeyman 200 Amp Swollen Elbow Repair Competition, our teams placed first and second (Andrew Brown, Matthew Hubbard, Ronny Mullins and Corey Hill - 1st; Cole Border, Colby Lipham, and Adam Thomas - 2nd). 

Fifty-seven public utility companies competed in the event, which was hosted by Lafayette Utilities System. The event honors lineworkers' expertise and the events are judged on safety, work practices, neatness, ability, equipment handling, and timely event completion.
