The Huntsville Utilities service area is under a slight risk (level 2 of 5) for severe weather on Friday. The greatest threat with this system is damaging wind gusts of up to 75 mph.

The timing window for our area is 8am to 2pm.

This type of system brings an increased risk of limbs, trees, and debris blowing into and bringing down power lines. If you see a downed line, do not approach it or attempt to drive over it.
