On October 3, the Huntsville Utilities Volunteer Council sponsored a lane--and competed in--Strike Out Hunger at Bowl Madison, an event benefitting Secret Meals for Hungry Children.

Secret Meals for Hungry Children is an Alabama-based organization that provides free meals on the weekends to school children who rely on free or reduced cost school lunches during the week.

The event raised nearly $17,000!
