Huntsville Utilities and Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville Announce Inaugural Innovation Dividend Fund Grant Recipients

On September 15, Huntsville Utilities announced the grant recipients of the inaugural Huntsville Utilities Dividend Fund.

The Huntsville Utilities Dividend Fund, in partnership with the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville, uses money collected  through ancillary revenues (not rate payer money) to provide grants to qualified, non-profit organizations that are working for the benefit of our community and its residents. One of those recipients was the Career and Technical Academy at Grissom High School (pictured below), which received $50,000.

Additional recipients include: 
Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Tennessee Valley ($50,000)
Boys & Girls Club of North Alabama ($50,000)
EarlyWorks Children’s Museum ($25,000)
Land Trust of North Alabama ($50,000)
Singing River Trail ($50,000)
The ELM Foundation ($15,000)
Triana Historical Society ($10,000)
