Huntsville Utilities Employees Donate To Catholic Center Of Concern

Last month, the Huntsville Utilities Volunteer Council sponsored a socks and underwear drive for the Catholic Center of Concern in Huntsville.  Our employees brought in donations for a week, and the council delivered them to the CCC office on Church Street.

The Catholic Center of Concern is a non-profit service agency offering emergency financial assistance to individuals or families, regardless of their religious affiliation, who live in Colbert, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, or Morgan counties. They have been serving our community for over 50 years. To learn more, visit https://catholiccenterofconcernhsv.org/.

The Huntsville Utilities Volunteer Council organizes and executes charitable endeavors on behalf of tHuntsville Utilities' nearly 800 employees. Their purpose is twofold: to foster positive community relations and demonstrate good corporate citizenship by identifying, organizing, promoting and carrying out worthwhile community projects, and to encourage all employees to volunteer their services for the community’s benefit on an individual or group basis. They achieve this by organizing fundraisers among Huntsville Utilities employees, then making donations to local organizations that work to better the lives of others in the community.
