⛈ SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR MONDAY - AUG 7 ⛈

The US National Weather Service Huntsville Alabama has placed the Huntsville Utilities service area under an enhanced risk (Level 3 of 5) for severe weather today.

The main threats are damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall, and the current projected timing is between 11am and 2pm.

If you see a downed power line, do not approach it or attempt to drive over it. Report it to 256-53-LIGHT (256-535-4448). This is also the number for reporting a power outage. If you cannot get through on the first attempt, wait a few minutes and try again.
