Customers without power: 305

As you can see from the outage map, the remainder of these outages are in clusters of one to five customers. This means that in many cases, crews are having to go house to house and pole to pole to isolate and repair the problem.

POWER OUTAGE RESTORATION UPDATE

Saturday - March 4, 2023 - 7:55pm

At this time, there are approximately 1,000 customers without power in the service area following yesterday’s storms.

This number does not include those in the previously reported area of University Drive, where service had to be interrupted following an injury to a Huntsville Utilities electric line worker.

There are still 15 utility poles down, with another 16 damaged. Thirty-nine power lines are down, with another four hanging low.

Although crews will continue to work restoring service, nighttime conditions and the investigation procedures following the line worker’s injury will make the process slower.

We appreciate your continued patience as our crews do their work.
