Traffic Alert for Pratt Avenue RESCHEDULED

PLEAST NOTE: This has been rescheduled to Tuesday - November 1, 2022.

Tomorrow morning at 8:00am, Huntsville Utilities Water Operations will close both eastbound lanes of Pratt Avenue from Dickson Street to Schiffman Street for fire hydrant installation (weather permitting).

Eastbound traffic will be diverted into the inside, westbound lane during this project, which is expected to last 6-8 hours.

Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible. Motorists traveling through this area are asked to do so with extreme caution as workers will be present.

If possible, travelers are advised to plan alternate routes to minimize any inconvenience. If alternate routes are not available, be prepared for shifting traffic patterns and possible delays.
