Scheduled Road Closure - Old Big Cove Road

NEWS RELEASE – HUNTSVILLE UTILITIES
ROAD CLOSURE – OLD BIG COVE ROAD
Thursday – September 15, 2022 – 1:50pm

On Friday, September 16, 2022, beginning at 8:30am, Huntsville Utilities Water Operations will close Old Big Cove Road from Sutton Road to Catherine Drive for service line replacement work.

The closure is expected to last to 12:30pm.

Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible.  Motorists traveling through this area are asked to do so with extreme caution as workers will be present. 

If possible, travelers are advised to plan alternate routes to minimize any inconvenience.  If alternate routes are not available, be prepared for shifting traffic patterns and possible delays.
