EV drivers can purchase a charger that uses a 240-volt outlet to make charging at home faster. These devices can be installed by licensed electricians. The charging time varies, but most drivers report 5 hours to get a complete charge, 20-30 miles per hour of charging.
Comercial DC-Fast Chargers

Charging your electric vehicle while traveling, shopping or dining is becoming another option available to EV drivers. The charging stations will typically except payment at a kiosk and charge times can be as fast as 30 minutes to give you enough miles to drive to your destination.
