New Commercial Accounts

Once you have completed the application requirements for your specific legal entity, submitted the required documents and made the deposit payment, you are ready to activate your account. The steps below will guide you through the process. 

Step 1 Account Application There are seven (7) types of commercial accounts available to business customers. Select the application which fits the description of your specific business. Email or contact Commercial and Industrial Accounts should you require assistance in determining which form fits best with your business type. Application and Requirements
	Step 2 Establish Business Building numbers (3 inch) must be permanently affixed to the facility and the meter base labeled with unit number (if applicable). Also a point of contact must be named for the business along with the appropriate contact details.
Step 3 Deposits Paid  Provide payment for a Non-Residential Utility Deposit. For different business entities this process may require a Commercial Application Deposit Quote. For example when the business is a brand new construction property instead of remodeling an existing facility. Security Deposits are accepted in one of the following forms: Cash Irrevocable Letter of Credit Utility Bond
